This survey is crafted to evaluate students' readiness for online courses. Through research and statistical analysis, nine key and measurable factors were identified: 1. Self-Motivation, 2. Self-Management, 3. Need for Instructor Feedback and Clarity, 4. Peer Interaction and Collaboration, 5. Text-Based Learning Preferences, 6. Visual Learning Preferences, 7. Auditory Learning Preferences, 8. Technology Skills, and 9. Classroom Website Skills.
Feature #2: Analysis Report With Advice
After completing the survey, students will be provided an assessment report based on their responses to the survey items. This report contains graphical information, tailored study tips in videos and text to support their study habits. Students can utilize the customized report and get advice for being a successful online learner. This report page also provides a link for students, so they can share it with instructors and academic advisors.
Feature #3: Class Profile: Instructor's Tool
If you are an instructor and want to view aggregated students’ responses as a class profile, you can create an account with this system and generate a survey link specifically for your class. With eLearnReady, you will gain a deep understanding of your students’ readiness for the online learning environment and receive ideas for supporting their online learning abilities through study tips. Additionally, instructors are provided with teaching and communication methods tailored to meet the needs of their individual classes.
Feature #4: Mini-Course: Get Yourself Ready for Online Learning Success
To prepare students for online learning, the eLearnReady research team has created a three-module mini-course aimed at providing students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for success in a virtual learning environment.
